SOSIALISASI IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA DI IGTK KECAMATAN BANTAN

Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikburistek) issued a policy in developing the Merdeka Curriculum which is given to educational levels as an additional option in order to restore learning during 2022-2024. The Ministry of Education and Technology policy regarding the national curriculum will be reviewed in 2024 based on evaluations during the learning recovery period. Referring to the conditions where the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many obstacles in the learning process in education levels which has had a quite significant impact. The 2013 curriculum, which was used before the pandemic, is the only curriculum used by educational levels in learning. The method used is socialization and also the practice of creating teaching modules and Pancasila student profile projects. The aim of this socialization is to strengthen kindergartens (kindergartens) in Bantan sub-district in creating the Merdeka curriculum, because there are still many kindergartens do not understand the Merdeka curriculum. The implementation method for this community service program activity uses counseling and training techniques for 1 full day from morning until noon with participants from all members of the IGTK in Bantan District. The aim of this activity is to increase teachers' and school principals' understanding about the student-centered in Merdeka curriculum.
