PENDAMPINGAN LITERASI MEDIA INTERNET PADA KOMUNITAS SINERGI SEJUTA UMKM DI KABUPATEN BENGKALIS

Abstract

Bergkalis Regency has a Million MSMEs Community that has the potential to be developed. However, in today's digital era, internet media literacy is an important skill needed by members of the One Million MSMEs Bengkalis Community in order to grow and compete effectively. Therefore, internet media literacy assistance is needed to assist MSMEs in making good use of online potential. This service aims to increase understanding and skills on how to increase public knowledge regarding internet media literacy in Bengkalis City, Bengkalis Regency, especially the Million MSMEs Community. The method of implementing community service includes identifying the needs and challenges faced by the MSME community regarding internet media literacy. Then internet media literacy training which covers topics such as social media management and the efficient use of digital marketing. The service was attended by 30 SMEs in Bengkalis, they received training on how to use Google trends to design keywords in creating promotional content. The benefits expected from this service are increasing skills and understanding of internet media literacy in the MSMEs Synergy of a Million MSMEs community in Bengkalis Regency, creating promotional content that is more targeted so that it has an impact on selling MSME products/services in Bengkalis.
