PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGELOLAAN WISATA PANTAI RAJA KECIK KABUPATEN BENGKALIS
Abstract
Tourism development based on natural resource management is the focus of government attention. Tourism activities are activities including the totality of production, consumption and services with recreational purposes. Ecotourism in the coastal environment provides many benefits for the community in economic, recreational and socio-cultural aspects. On the other hand, the negative impact on the coastal environment is getting worse due to abrasion. This activity is to produce solutions for the preservation and development of coastal tourism based on sustainable local community empowerment. Carried out through mentoring, training and direct practice methods. Solutions for implementing activities through Focus Group Discussions with related agencies and institutions such as the Tourism Service, Environmental Service, LAM Bengkalis, environmental observer NGOs, and GENPI. The results of the activities were organizing traders, creating parks at tourist locations, providing rubbish bins, controlling parking locations. Adding photo spots for folaroids, swings, and nirmana from geronggan wood as local cultivated plants. Teenagers are trained in digital marketing, eco printing training, designing clothes as souvenirs. The women were trained to process fish into shredded meat as an UMKM product. All activities run smoothly as an effort to empower the community around the tourist attraction
