Abstract

Koto Tuo Village is production center for catfish aquaculture. Catfish is superior freshwater fish commodity that favored by community for cultivation and has high economic value. Jackfruit is superior plantation product. Efforts to develop fish and jackfruit have been carried out by research to increase selling value, addition of jackfruit in processing of fish floss which is highly favored by consumers, but still limited to consumers around location of fish floss production. Innovation is needed so raw materials for fish and jackfruit are developed through product diversification. Purpose of activity is to provide training on processing fish and jackfruit into snack products (Nangfish cookie, nugget, and floss) for home industry businesses. Methods of implementing activities: counseling and experimental methods processing fish and jackfruit snack products. Benefits of activity are to increase knowledge and skills in making snack products in order to overcome malnutrition and scarcity of fish and jackfruit products.
