Abstract

The community service program in the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, with the 2023 UPIK (Campus Intellectual Product Business) scheme, focuses on diversifying processed pineapple by producing a bakery called pineapple milk pie. Food processing is essential for converting raw materials, especially agricultural products such as pineapples, into processed food products with added value and better shelf life. The service program with the UPIK scheme in 2023 aims to diversify pineapple-based processed products to increase business income in the campus environment. Thus, the service team hopes to generate interest in entrepreneurship among students and ultimately contribute as a source of income (income generating) for the University of Riau. With this innovation, it is hoped that pineapple milk pie can become an attractive snack alternative for the campus and surrounding communities. The team of lecturers and students from the Department of Agricultural Technology Faperta Unri also tried to implement the right marketing strategy to market D'PINA products, namely the nata de pina drink and pineapple milk pie, to the campus market and surrounding communities.
